SoonR for Mac is Here!
Well, we’ve listened to tons of people who just love their Macs (including some SoonR employees) and have release the beta of SoonR for the Mac. We are in San Francisco today at the SuperNova conference where we are officially announcing our Mac support.
Not only do you get the great files access, sharing, and viewing of content on PCs with your phone, but you also get integration with Spotlight! With Spotlight integration, anything on the Mac can now be found lickety split. We’ve noticed that Spotlight is FAST! On our test phones we are amazed at the response.
Not only that, you get SoonR Talk Skype integration. Now you can use your Mac as a switchboard for calls all over the world from your phone.
We know that the Mac community is a dedicated and tight knit bunch. Please check our latest efforts and let us know what you do and don’t like. Also be sure and check the SoonR forum as we have created a place just for the Mac users.
Oh yeah, download the animatted GIF above and you can use it as a background for your phone. This particular one is for phones that are 320 pixels wide and 240 pixels tall. If you want other form factors, let us know and we’ll see what we can do. Thanks for using SoonR.

Can Soonr integrate with Mac Mail and iCal (calendar)?

Rajiz, currently the Mac version of SoonR doesn’t integrate with Mail or iCal. We are in the process of adding that functionality. The planned availability of that is during Q3 this year. If you look in the feature area of the website, you’ll see that it says “Coming Soon”. Thanks for checking in!

I great job! really! BUT SOMETHING MISSING!!!!! Believe me!!!! I mean. For example yesterday happend something to me… i read something about soonr, great i download and install it on my iBook G3! works fine with skype too. That’s ok! So i’, back working…. I send and email to my printer server in the center of the town… (print a large format). then I go out from my office to take this printer page A3 format. my iBook was in office with soonr connected! When i arrive there my friends says, i’m sorry i dont receive your email with your files to print,i say “what?” “how?” is not possible. so i think what can i do, i must come back in the office… but wait i have soonr !!!!!!great i make a connection to my computer i saw the 3 pdf file with preview, the i want to select a file to send via email to this service, but i can’t!!!!!!! so how it’s possible? when u selected a file you can choose: “share” or “monitor” and why there no button “EMAIL” ???? this is al people need. i dont care about “monitor” that this file change, maybe because one of my employer works on it. THIS SOFTWARE NEED THIS FEATURES IT’S IMPORTANT…. u dont think so? U can say: ok why u dont connectes from your computer service to internet to soonr website…. right.. but it’s not the same!
At the end I come back to the office, and re-send an email!
